What is Conexion Farm you may ask, Conexion Farm (CXF) is the farm that provides part time work for the Valera Masters Commision students.
Part time jobs may be difficult to get, so, to enable more young people to be part of Valera Masters Commission (VMC), the church runs a farm. No money is exchanged, this is an option for those who cannot afford to pay for their room and board.
This farm does more than simply grow food stuffs, it grows young people (and older ones too) in the discipline of hard work and Godly attitudes.
As steel sharpens steel so one man sharpens another, is the motto of VMC and that sharpening is pushed hard at the farm. So to develop excellently sharpened steel, all first year VMC students must work at the farm one and two days per week.
What does Commission Farm produce, we try to produce "organic foods". 100 percent hand produced.
Some of those foods include: eggs, corn, papaya, bananas, coffee, cacao, seasonally tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers, and coming soon, pineapple and pumpkin.
We have some small meat animals: goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and geese.
Dressing is a must if we are to have chicken for supper at masters commission
