Masters commission started up with a real roar. The school children return to school this month and ministries of helping them with their home work two evenings a week is a real blessing. We have more kids this year than last year, that is a real honor.
We are seeing a good group of new teens coming into conexion, that is our greatest excitement. we want to rescue as many young teens as we can. The kingdom of God is being advanced.

We have been able to restart the work on the construction...a slow but persistent pace. We are now stuccoing the walls as finances have permitted the people have returned to the construction mode, one day a week we all get together to work construction. That has become the Wednesday tradition. those who can come in to volunteer the day and then we eat a communal lunch and admire the progress.
We are still believing for the help to roof the whole building. please pray with us about this.
June 2009
June marks the graduation of Masters commission. we have one third year graduate, and many finishing their first and second years.

"Granja Kids" Farm kids is our yearly ministry to the children of the community. schools sign up and send us their first through fourth graders. we have a craft time, a ministry time and a whole bunch of animals the kids can pet and or see. We had over eight hundred kids in four days. This has become a high demand time from our schools. We generally have to turn schools down for lack of finances and help.
January 2009
We are returning , launching a new year in the Church with our motto being
"Love Forgives".
The year was opened with seven days of fasting and prayer. We are praying that forgives flow from person to person to all the family and from family to family to all the state of Trujillo.
We are believing that 2009 will be the year that marks a historic change for Valera. We are believing that forgives will flow across the city and the state and Gods Kingdom will be extended like never before.

September 2008
This month Valera Masters Commission starts with a "Big Bang" pray that the kids God would want to reach would enroll for this coming year. We now have 7 kids registered in full time study. In a week or two we will be starting our partime studies and will have the numbers to share with you later.
July 2008
We have been six months with out a vehicle, But God will provide. We have Speed the Light money to buy another vehicle, but the purchasing has been very slow. We are believing that this month we will be able to show you a pic of our "new" car. Thanx Speed the Light! Thank you all for your sacrificial giving to Speed the Light!
An individual donated to the ministry a used 790 John Deere tractor! We are excited. This tractor will multiply our strength and the productivity at Conexion farm. Now we are in the process of having it shipped from Houston. We need special help on shipping, if you are interested in helping us out, Please contact us via e-mail for that donation.
A kind farmer in Missouri blessed us with a 2 row corn planter, a six foot disc, a two bottom plow, a six foot cultivator, five foot brush hog and a 5 foot blade. all this is waiting final approvals and finances to leave Houston TX and go to work on the conexion farm.
Summer 2008
As always summer is "VACATION" but not to us in conexion. We started out the summer with the graduation of Masters commission, seeing our fourth graduate complete the 3 year program. Praise God!
Then our closing services for the week-end masters commission kids: these two events catapult us into the summer with Granja Kids (farm in the church) we brought in a sampling of the farm animals and set up a petting and ministry event having more than 800 elementary age children in attendance.
Next came our "Vacation Plan" kids camp, this year we doubled in attendance from last year to have 50 kids enrolled. God touched those kids in a mighty way as they played, prayed and learned more about their Super, Super hero, Jesus Christ.
May 2008
Conexion has dedicated this month to doing school assemblies. presenting Christ through the important morals a good Venezuelan citizen must adhere to in order to have a healthy & successful life. Also to promote the radio program for young people that airs daily, and preparing for a major event called the Freedom Boxing Match. This event circles around a boxing match between the two spiritual enemies within the young persons heart.
We Have been aproved to extend out term for one more year. That will make our term end in th spring of 2010. The needs at the church demand our extention, and we have been granted it. Praise the Lord.
We will also need your continued help in monthly giving in order to stay on the field as needed. Thank you for your faithfullness in giving and in prayer.
I believe that we have been aproved to sell our "dead STL vehicle" and purchase a newer vehicle. Please pray that all the aprovals would be granted and that monies would come in, so that in June we could purchase another vehicle.
Not having a vehicle in the middle of church construction, conexion farm and church ministry, has been very dificult and costly. We are VERY anxious to have a vehicle.
These six weeks without our STL car have really made us apreciate your STL giving. THANK YOU for that saciricial giving, thank you for all the ..ATHONS you do to raise those funds...THANK YOU!

The first week was started out with three days of fasting and prayer.
Focusing on the healing of families, and for acquaintances who need to begin their relationship with God.
Simultaneously, many of the people in the church are at our annual missions trip. They are in the community of San Lazaro (saint Lazarus). During the day they are painting and doing maintenance on the small church there. In the evenings the are doing prayer walks believing that God will bring to life Lazarus!
The oil pump in the motor of our STL car went out. and seized the motor up :(
SOOO... we are without a vehicle for now. We cannot buy parts nor a new motor, so, please pray that God will open dores in this situation.

Easter season for us at conexion is a very busy time. we have major ministry activities for the young people. Conexion Extreme is a week like summer camp where the Kids have loads of fun and beautiful times with God. our main Purpose is to have each young person developer a strong personal relationship with the living God.

This is the month of carnival across the continent. So it is time to have activities to focus our people on spiritual things. The challenge in a hyper carnal culture, But, God is greater!

Masters Commission starts back the 9nth and that is a welcome day, the holidays are rather quiet around the Church, it is a welcome disturbance to have all the young people bouncing off all four walls and the ceiling.

Merry Christmas!
We are celebrating Jesus' birth day!
The first week was our missions convention week. we had a Venezuelan missionary who will be serving in Australia with us and the church people once again pushed their missions giving up for the 2008 pledges.
Second week has been a week full for the masters commission kids, finishing off their first semester and preparing all the Christmas programs to be played around the city and in the schools.
Third week put us all in the farm for it is time to plant tomatoes and green peppers.
November 2007
This month has been one out reach after another, finalizing with a major event Friday night the 16th with a major event in the center. We had 25 new young people come to the activities and we are believing that they will fit into the discipleship and grow for the "KING".
We are praying that God would help us with construction teams to help us with the roof on the church.
October 2007
The corn is planted, rain is coming and the farm is looking good. But better looking still are the young people of conexion. They are growing and being molded into mighty warriors of the King.
September 2007
Masters Comission began with seventeen students and a race for the Farm to get 2 acres cleaned and planted with corn.
This is the month for our Kids Camps just before school starts and God really touched the 35 kids who came to "camp" at the church for a week.
An interesting story for September 30, I got a call from CX farm that said get up here fast there is a big animal in the chicken barn. Well I and another commission student scurried up to the farm with machetes in hand. As we went into the barn we could see a snake with two chicken feet sticking out of its mouth. Needlessly to say we cut its head off. We measured him, he was a seven foot long boa constrictor. I hated to kill it, but I can't have him eating the CX chickens!

July is the month of "conexion vacation" our version of summer camps, for all ages. The wonderful presence of God has touched many new and old kids of Valera. pray with us for more souls.
June 2007
This month is the last month of Valera Masters Commission, finals, memory work and reading reports all due, time for the kids to recap the semester and allow God to drill the "truth" into their heart. next will be their finishing touch - a trip to the beach. A first for most of these kids.
This trip is a wonderful way to finish out the year and begin summer creak and all the camps and ministry opportunities that will be going on this summer.

this month is a month full of school assemblies. VMC does human videos and talks to kids about making decisions that will help them in life. we see many young people touched by the presence of al mighty God.
April 2007
As preparations, for 3 major weekends of Kingdom expansion missions, were being made the enemy struck hard at Lloyd's body, he reeled in pain as the Dr. said he had a stomach ulcer. The enemy forgot that he had no power over the people of God. So in less that 24 hours and to the Doctors amazement, God healed Lloyd's body and he is up and doing fine with no pain nor discomfort.
Praise Be to THE ALMIGHTY!

Masters commission has grown by two new students. VMC has now ten full time students and fifteen part time students. Part time masters commission is for young people who are in school and want to be in masters commission from Friday afternoon through Sunday evening.

Have a Very Merry Christmas.
Christmas time is a very exciting time for us as the Marsh family because we are able to be with the ones we love: the people of Valera. Not to say we don't miss being with our family and friends in other places, but we are truly grateful to you and to the Lord for placing us in Venezuela.
This season brings with it a beautiful enfaces, the giving, loving and community that is the heart if what Christ is about. We have major Birthday parties scheduled for this month. We are celebrating the birthday of Jesus Christ, we are focusing on bringing the unbeliever to a birthday party, making it a little easier for those people to begin their personal relationship with Jesus. we are believing that many people will begin that personal relationship with Jesus this month.
We as a family want to thank you for making it possible for us to celebrate Christmas this year in Valera, thank you for praying for us and for giving to the Lord making it a reality for us to serve the Lord there.
After all, Jesus is the reason for this season!
the Kids, are really enjoying their pets, Christopher has a pet we found on one of the church properties, its name is "crush", a baby red tail boa constrictor. Christy is more conservative with her cat called "Garfy"

Our newest satellite church launched the 11the. The city government is helping us with logistical support. They are so impressed with the dedication and responsibility of our young people that the mayor has pledged any help we need in reaching the young people of His town. God is expanding His Kingdom. Keep this satellite in prayer.

This month was back to school month and that only with a week camp at the church with a high emphasis on boosting our relation ship with God so we can be the missionaries in our schools. 35 kids attended and we were so excited to see how God speeks to them and called them into service at their school. July 2006
This month we had our first year of teen summer camp.
We had 17 teen age kids registered for camp starting Monday July 17-21.
this is the first, so we feel like this is a real leap forward. Pray that these kids would be revolutionized for the Kingdom's sake.
Now that camp has finished, where we saw most of the kids spontaneously filled with the Holy Spirit. They hit the streets and began praying for the needs of the people on the street and say the Holy Spirit touch many people throught them. it is so veryu exciting to watch what God is doing amoung His young people here.
This month we re-start the construction of the church.
Conexion Live celebrates two years on the air
Conexion Live is a daily live radio program put on by the young people of the church. They are doing a wonderful job, using new technology to have lively, relevant music and a healthy time of ministry. This program is a daily discipleship tool that God is using to extend His kingdom in Valera.

June 21 was a victory day for the Valera Master's Commission. 7 young people completed their first year of Master's commission. The awesome work God has done in these young people is so much like our God! We are so proud of them. pray that they will continue to grow and Continue in master's commission for the next year.
Valera Master Commission will be starting their second year in September.

We had a school of the Holy Spirit for four evenings and Jesus baptized forty people in the Holy Spirit.
some of which have stared flowing in the gifts of the Spirit, that is when the Pentecostal lifestyle becomes an exciting way of life. these people are stepping out to follow the Holy Spirit's lead in the mall, on the street or in the line at the bank and God does miracles them.

Every week our people go and pray for the sick in the hospital. We see miracles every week. God is so very good to His creation.
March 2006
The Doctor in our church has been very touched by God and has started praying for the sick that come to his practice. God is honoring Doc's faith and he is seeing many people healed by God instantly in the examining room.
Christy turned five this month, and a whopping five year old she is. one thing that really touches her Daddy's heart is to hear her pray. Christy is an intercessor at heart.

The Lord provided a bountiful offering so as to help the church continue on the second floor slab. Praise the Lord and Thank you.
January 2006
Praise be to our God, eleven new believers were baptized the second Sunday of January. The body of believers finished a collective fast the first seven days of 2006. What an awesome thing it is when a group of believers fast and pray together.
Evangelism-first class
Masters commission group comes to Valera to help the church do some "first class" outreach activities. Hundreds of young and old alike gather in the plazas and schools in the Valera area to hear the gospel in video and live music as a combined ministry team of Valera young people and the Fort myers masters commission students work together to show the Gospel in living color.
The MC team wrote and prepared a special video to communicate a very special message to the kids of Valera. That message is the message that God is a person who loves you, even thought you may have not had a good relationship with your earthly father, you can have a loving relationship with you Heavenly father. Video, upbeat music and loads of noise have drawn many to hear the message and take a positive atitude toward Jesus.
We are praying that the Kingdom of God would be advanced in the heart of 75 new people this month. The Church people are doing major outreaches in the neighborhoods and towns around Valera.

Ana Maria & I have been in Valera for nearly three years. We Praise the Lord for His help in the Construction of the Church.
The construction had been halted over a year before we arrived. The people didn't believe they would ever see the construction resume. May 2004 construction resumed and were the people ever excited.
The construction is going to cost $400 per week, I am challenging our people to give sacrificially and make that happen. The hard part of that challenge for me is to know that the doctor who attends our church only makes $500 per month.

We landed in Venezuela!
we arrived in the nation of Venezuela and flew into the city of Valera. We visited the church there and saw that they are in a building project, meeting in the basement working hard to hold on to the hope of having a pastor to lead them and to reach their city of 150,000 people for Jesus Christ. This church is one of seven churches in the state of Trujillo, Venezuela. What an incredible lack Spiritual understanding. This church needs help constructing their building, medical teams to help them touch the suffering, AIM teams to help them evangelize and challenge the youth. Would you help us Bless these People?

History
As a boy I defined the word history to my Dad as: His story; that is, God's story! So let me tell you a little of His story.
In 1994 Ana Maria & Lloyd were appointed missionaries to Bolivia. Understanding the incredible need to minister Jesus' love to the Indian children in that needy nation, we set out to La Paz, Bolivia to develop those ministries. While in Bolivia, we translated the Bible Quiz program much like it is used across the USA, put it on the Internet and began Bolivian quizzing. We worked training leaders for the kids' clubs and Sunday school, children's church, Bible clubs, youth and kids' camps. We taught in the Bible schools preparing Pastors to better carry out their calling. Lloyd Jr served as an assistant district superintendent. Simultaneously, the Lord opened an incredible door to pioneer a church among the people of European descent in the City of La Paz, followed by the launching of a small Christian school. Both of which are presently lead and pastored by nationals. The six and a half years we served God in Bolivia were both challenging and rewarding.
The national church leaders of Venezuela have invited us to relocate to that great nation and assist them in the building of a church, Christian school and opening neighborhood churches in the city of Valera. We pray for the possibility of pioneering many churches there, and bolstering the national children and youth ministries. It would be wonderful if we could develop Bible Quiz in that nation also.
Future Plans:
We will build this church, the people then the building... as God provides for the construction.
